10 Tips on How to be Happy

Happiness is wanted by everyone, but hard to truly achieve at times. Especially with all of the crazy things going on in this crazy world of ours. I want to share 10 super awesome and easy ways you can achieve happiness. These are things that have helped me, and I hope they help you too! So let us start our weekend on a good note!

1. Think Positive: It may be hard to stay positive all of the time, but by staying positive you exercise looking on the bright side of things. This is something you want! 

2. Surround Yourself with Positive People: By surrounding yourself with positive people you are able to lean on people who always show you that the grass is greener on the other side. Besides, wouldn't you like to be around happy people instead of Debbie-Downers?

3. Stay Healthy (Exercising and Eating Well): This is something I struggle with sometimes, but you can tell the difference in your mood when you eat healthier and when you engage in physical activity. 

4. Practice Forgiveness: By practicing forgiveness you not only move forward but you liberate your mind of unwanted vibes. 

5. Be Grateful: Always find something to be grateful for each and every day. You live an awesome life, and it is about time that you realize that yourself. 

6. Get Rid of Things That Don’t Benefit You Such As (jealousy, anger, bitterness): These characteristics are only there to haunt you and remind you of the ugliness of this world. You don't need jealousy, anger or bitterness. If they don't benefit you, throw them away. 

7. Find Something You Love Doing and Do It and Get Better At It: This is my favorite because you not only discover who you truly are by discovering what you love, but you enjoy every single second of it. 

8. Smile: This one may not come as a shocker to you, but something as simple as smiling can brighten up your day, and it even allows you to be more approachable, hence more friendships! It's a definite win-win situation. 

9. Take Each Day One Day at a Time: It is important to always live in the present. When you live in the past, it disables you from moving forward! 

10. Make Others Happy: Making people happy is a beautiful thing. By making others happy, you are able to feel good about yourself, and you make others feel good about themselves.
