Triple Braided Pony

If you have been following me for a while then you know just how much I enjoy the cold weather. I love it so much, that it doesn't phase me when my fingers are too numb to do pretty much anything! Even though I live in California, I do live in a very cold city!

With that being said, I am always on the lookout for something easy and simple to do to my hair. I have made the mistake of curling my hair, only to find that it is pouring rain outside. Another one of my foes during the winter time is the beautiful wind. It's not just a light fresh wind, its a ginormous gust of wind that knocks me off my feet.

With that being said, I want to share with you guys this fun and easy hairstyle that I think is perfect for the cold weather. I call it "The Triple Braided Pony".

Here are the steps:
Step 1: Separate your hair into 3 different sections. (You are going to create your three braids.)
Step 2: Begin to braid the first section until you reach the very end and then tie with a small elastic. Repeat this same step on the other two section.

*Note you are not braiding your entire hair, just the top sections.

Step 3: Once you have braided your three sections, you can gather your hair into a ponytail.
Step 4: Grab a small section of hair from the ponytail, and wrap it around the elastic to hide the elastic.

That is it! I hope you were able to understand this. If you didn't understand this, worry not, you can also view my video tutorial here.

I find that ponytails are such a fun and trendy way to defeat the Winter season surprises we may encounter. What do you think? What is your favorite go to hairstyle for Winter?

  5. This braided pony tail is stunning! I think it would be cute to do my hair like this in the summer time when it's too hot and humid to wear my hair down, but I still want my hair to look cute. Pinning this!
