Hairstyle Diary: Romantic Fishtail Half-do

There are three things I absolutely love in any hairstyle: Soft waves, bohemian vibes, and chunky braids. These three things make hair look absolutely fabulous. It's the kind of hairstyle that makes messy look great! That is exactly what I have for you all here on TKH today!

After much searching I combined three beautiful textures and this is the result. I absolutely love it! I hope you do too!

Also, before going on to the tutorial, I just wanted to share with you all that TKH has it's own Instagram and Twitter account. Go ahead and follow them for updates, and inspiration. I hope that as the year unfolds we see growth. Well anyway, lets get on to the tutorial.

What you will need:
-Elastic
-Bobby Pins

Step 1: Grab a thick section from the front of your hair, and fishtail braid that section. If you have no idea, how to french fishtail, make sure to take a look at this video. This video helped me, and it is also an Elsa braid tutorial, which is what this braid is.
Step 2: Secure with an elastic.
Step 3: Grab a section from the other side of your hair and rope braid it. To rope braid, you simply separate into two sections and twist these sections together.
Step 4: Combine both braids and secure with an elastic.
Step 5: Remove the elastic from the fishtail braid.

*Bonus Step: You can grab a small section and wrap it around the elastic to cover the elastic.

You did it!

I think this hairstyle is perfect for a night out with friends, school, or even for a nice little dinner. What do you think? Please don't forget to follow along on social media.
