Hairstyle Diary: Dutch/Fishtail Low Pony

I am so excited about today's post because it's a brand new hair tutorial, and you guys know how much I love hair tutorials. This one in particular is my absolute fave because it involves two different braids! (big shocker there!!) No TKH hair tutorial is complete without some messy braids!

The only things you will need for this tutorial is two elastics, a bobby pin, and a lot of patience. Also, please don't forget to follow along on Instagram, and Twitter for more beautiful posts and updates just like this one!

Step 1: Grab a section at the crown of your head and begin dutch braiding down. Watch this short video if you do not know how to dutch braid.
Step 2: Secure with an elastic. It should look like a low ponytail.
Step 3: Grab a small section of hair from the ponytail and wrap around the elastic to cover the elastic.
Step 4: Fishtail braid the rest of the hair down, and you are done!

If it comes out messy like mine, don't worry. I actually think it looks a lot better that way! I love this hairstyle because it is definitely a lot easier than it looks. It just requires a lot of patience because fishtail braiding can be a bit time consuming. Other than that, once you've mastered the braiding, you are good to go.

What are your thoughts? Please feel free to tag TKH in any hairstyles you would want to be recreated. Have a beautiful day!
