Hello, I'm Liz. I am a daughter of the King, a deep thinker, a lover of all things yellow and pink, I drink tea, and I am reader. I am Apostolic/ Pentecostal, and I love reaching out to people through more creative platforms. Thank you so much for visiting my little corner of the Internet. You will find different things in this blog, but I assure you that they will all be here with the purpose to either encourage your faith or inspire you in some way.

I am so glad you have visited my blog. Please take a look around, and I hope you enjoy your stay.

How long have you been Apostolic/Pentecostal?
I got baptized on August 1, 2010, and I have never looked back since. My faith in God is the most certain thing I have. I love everything about this road, and I will only continue growing from here.

What kind of camera do you use?
I use the Nikon D5200, and I use the kit lens. Lame I know, I can't wait to get another lens and expand my talents even more.

Why did you start blogging?
I have always had an interest in writing. I read a lot of books growing up, and I always wondered who, in their right mind, could come up with all of the words to explain the stories I would read. They seemed perfect. With that being said, I began writing in journals, and I would dream of writing my own books someday. I have a lot of ideas. I am the type of person that can sit down and think up a whole story plot, and I am the type of person that guesses the endings of books and movies or at least tries to guess why certain things have happened in these books and movies. (How aggravating, I know)

The Kindhearted, was originally called P.s Love Beth. I would write a lot of personal things on here which are now hidden or deleted posts. I was basically an open book on the internet.

When I gave my life to God, my posts became more positive and inspirational. One day I wrote a short poem, and I received a comment from a young girl I did not know. She mentioned how she always felt uplifted by visiting my blog. I then came to the realization that I shouldn't just stop there. I know God has a wonderful way of speaking to people, and I constantly pray that He helps me spread His love to anyone who comes across my blog. I do not do this for myself, I am nothing but an instrument. That is why I pray and I ask God to allow me to worship and praise Him in all that I do, especially my writing.

Who takes your pictures?
I do. I have a lot of help from my tripod and my little remote. They are my best friends in photography. Unless otherwise stated, I have taken the pictures featured on The Kindhearted.

How do you deal with negativity?
Bloggers, YouTubers, and anyone who openly posts anything on the internet is subject to negativity. At first, I was not prepared for any of it. I used to have a YouTube channel where I would post hairstyle tutorials. One day I received a negative comment on my video, and I was heartbroken. My YouTube channel was deleted, and it took about two years for me to find the courage to start over.

I have learned to surround myself with supportive people. I also pray because I am ultimately doing this for God. This means that any negativity I receive means nothing to me because i do not do what I am doing to achieve praise for myself. Everything I do is for God, and as long as He is pleased with me, I am fine.

When I do receive something negative, it does hurt, but that is when I have to give myself a reality check. I then remind myself that God is my reason, and then I regain the strength to smile all over again.
